Wednesday
10th September 2008
@The Wheatsheaf

To welcome new arrivals to the club and remind us of the fun and frolics we have when we go away as a Club we are holding a New Members and Post Tour Social night.

The night is an opportunity to:

Ø     Watch a video and slide show of the club's tours to the Stockholm 10s, the Bournemouth 7s and Hamburg!

Ø     Meet new, existing and 'older' members of the club;

Ø     Enjoy good food - meals deals will be on offer; and

Ø     Enjoy a beverage or two at the Sheaf!

For part of the night's entertainment, Ryan Dilley is putting together the video from images he has been sent from the trips.

70 players turned out for the Club at Hurlingham on Saturday.  The First/Second squad drew 7:7 with Chiswick and lost 18:0 to Woodford.  This was a very good workout and a chance for Dai Michael to see the players in action for the first time.

The Third/Fourth XV had a comfortable win over Chiswick Third XV.

The Ladies XV came back from their very creditable 31:21 defeat away to Harlequin Ladies to enjoy the Hog Roast.
