 STUART MANGAN

On Saturday 5th April 2008 one of our players Stuart Mangan (the younger brother of Barry Mangan) sustained a serious injury whilst playing fly half for the Second XV against Hampstead.

Stuart received immediate assistance from his team mates and the emergency services who were quickly on the scene and was taken to Charing Cross Hospital. On Wednesday 9^th April 2008 Stuart was transferred to the spinal unit at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore where he is in a stable and comfortable condition. 

The extent of Stuart's injury will not be known for a number of weeks.

Stuart has a very close family and they, and his friends, are supporting him.

FARNHAM RUGBY 7s - Fulham Phantoms (aka H & F RFC) win Vase League

In a highly contested Farnham 7s rugby tournament, in which they conceded only 3 tries in 5 games, Fulham Phantoms won the Farnham Vase league. Congratulations to the Hammers players who were instrumental an undefeated tournament run.

Robin Corbie, Zel Hilliar, Adam Hinton, Stan Lam, Lewis Meredith, Andy Scott and Felix Whitechapel.

RESULTS - SATURDAY 26th April

H & F Vets maintained their unbeaten record for the past TWO season when they beat a spirited Hampstead XV, 32-10.  Photos and Match report to come.

A special thanks to all those who made a donation to the Stuart Mangan fund, in particular the players of Hampstead RFC. Over £500 was raised for  the fund on the day.
